Flash Mask for macOS Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 15, 2026. Operator: ZHAO JIANZHONG. Contact [email protected].

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Flash Mask app for macOS.

Flash Mask is an on-device image annotation and mask creation tool. It lets you import an image, outline areas, add optional instructions, and generate JSON coordinate data or a black-and-white mask.

2. Data Handling

Flash Mask processes the images you choose, local file paths, selection coordinates, optional instructions, generated JSON, and masks on your device.

This content is used only to perform actions you initiate in the App. Flash Mask:

3. File Access and Local Output

Flash Mask accesses only files and save locations that you actively choose through the macOS file picker or by dragging files into the App. It does not scan your file system or access unrelated files.

JSON is copied and masks are exported only when you choose those actions. Copied JSON is managed by the macOS system clipboard, and exported masks are saved to the location you select. You control that content afterward.

The App stores your interface language preference on your device, but it does not create a task-history database. The App may create temporary files or caches needed to load and display the current image.

4. Retention and Deletion

Because Flash Mask does not receive or remotely store your App data, the operator has no server-side record of your tasks to access or delete.

Opening another image or quitting the App ends the current task. You can delete exported files yourself and change your interface language preference at any time in the App.

5. Contact

The data controller is ZHAO JIANZHONG. If you believe Flash Mask behaves differently from this policy, or if you have a privacy question, contact [email protected].

6. Changes to This Policy

If Flash Mask changes how it handles data, we will update this policy, its effective date, and the relevant App Store privacy information.
